The Year 9 curriculum involves teams of teachers working with students in a collaborative environment that has at its core, student-centred learning. The explicit teaching of thinking skills, with an emphasis on the utilisation and embedding of information and communication technology is a feature of the program .Students will be involved in a number of interdisciplinary inquiry based learning projects throughout the year. These projects will encourage students to engage in deep, authentic learning through exploration of a key question.
The Year 10 program will build on the skills of the year 9 program, yet allow for some specialization in the latter part of the year, in preparation for their intended pathways in the following years. The courses of study will allow for flexibility in interests and ability, ensuring students are well equipped for the options of either, VCE, or VCAL at Years 11 and 12.
