Years 11 & 12 Curriculum

Years 11 & 12

Years 11 & 12 are the culmination of student's secondary education. At Catholic Ladies' College we aim for these years to be a consolidation of the knowledge, skills and values students have developed since Year 7. In this context, we view the VCE as creating opportunities for each student to realise her potential and to develop skills of independent lifelong learning.

The College offers a comprehensive range of VCE subjects .Students also have the opportunity to study VET courses: Certificate II in Business Administration (Office Administration), Certificate II in Information Technology, Certificate II in Multimedia.

The Victorian Certificate of Applied Learning (VCAL) is offered to those students who prefer a more applied way of learning.

Year 12 students have the opportunity to develop and grow in our beautiful Year 12 complex, Currajeen. It comprises splendid new classrooms, a computer laboratory, lecture/seminar room, common room, kitchen and locker area, room and beautiful courtyards in a bush setting. Separation from the main school complex provides an ideal environment for study. The transition from secondary school to tertiary study really begins here.
